This last week and a half has been lots of work! Not photography work so much, but building a desk, erecting shelves, moving stuff around. We’ve been remodeling our office, and transforming it into an editing suite, so we had to move furniture out of the room and prime and paint, then build a desk from a countertop and 2x4s. I am bushed! We will now have a central repository for all of the gear that continues to amass throughout the rest of the house as soon as I finish the shelves. I’ll put images up when it’s all finished so you can see where the magic happens!
As far as images go, I’ve got them, I need to blog them, and they’re coming soon…
We’ve also been swamped recently with meetings and emails and phone calls so things are going very well! For those of you who have referred clients to us, you will be compensated soon with some very special treats (you know who you are!)
By the way, I’m going to “back-date” the new posts so that they fall in chronological order, so they’ll show up below this one…
No, not like lemonade! I dislike the tendency that we have as a culture to shorten words un-necessarily, prom. Promenade sounds a little more formal as well it should and these couples show just how formal it should be…
The first couple of the night was a Senior client of mine Daniel…

and his girlfriend Lindsey…

they hammed it up for the camera too

later on Luke, Faith and their friend Daniel stopped by and thought we were shotting a movie poster

Then we had them split up so we wouldn’t be overwhelmed by their unbelieveable coolness 🙂

I want to thank all the kids for stopping by and share just how beautiful the girls looked and how handsome all the fellas were.
We celebrated Mother’s at the Homeplace in Catwaba, if you’ve never eaten there and like home cooked food, go by one day enjoy yourself. Here is a fan site.

Jessi needed headshots for a portfolio to distribute and she chose us to capture her beauty. Entering dance competitions and looking into modeling and acting we’re quite excited to work with her to help get her off the ground. This is only the first of many sessions that we’ll be doing with Jessi for her portfolio, these are some of my favorites that we’ll add to as time allows…

this one begged for a cross-processed look, so…

just a photographer collaborating with individuals who want more art in their lives
